I won a copy of Farlander, the first book in the series, as part of the Goodreads Firstreads program. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to get to it in a very timely manner. Months later I did and I really wish I'd gotten to it earlier. It's a great story with excellent worldbuilding and a refreshingly different main character. Hint: It's not the narrator. From the sounds of Shadow's synopsis, it's shaping up to be a great revenge adventure tale.
